Brief

The desire to give arrives on its own schedule. The ability to act on it should too. CLC Online Giving removes the barriers between a member's heart to give and the moment they can do something about it, whether they are traveling, unwell, or simply want to return their firstfruits the moment they receive them. A custom web platform that makes tithe and offering giving accessible anytime, from anywhere, through payment channels that reach every member, including those without a bank.

Challenge

For many church members the intention to give is immediate. The opportunity is not. A business trip, a vacation, an illness, any ordinary reason for missing a Sunday, and traditional giving simply stops, because it required physical presence. CLC needed to meet members where they actually are. Returning a tithe or giving an offering online had to be as effortless as everyday banking, without stripping the act of the intentionality and meaning that gives it weight. Convenience could not come at the cost of sincerity.

‍

Discovery

Access was the real constraint. Not willingness, not faithfulness. Members needed to give from wherever they were, which meant supporting more than online banking alone. Over-the-counter channels mattered because not every member has traditional banking access, and a giving platform that quietly excludes people fails at the one thing it exists to do. Just as importantly, the experience needed restraint. Systematic generosity is a practice, and a platform serving it should feel dignified and clear, never cluttered or transactional.
