Brief
There is a whole category of chefs the food delivery industry forgot. Not restaurants. Not fast food. Home-based cooks making nutritious, made-from-scratch meals, running real businesses out of group chats and social posts. Ganitable was built to fix that. A two-sided iOS and Android marketplace that gives home chefs a professional home for their business and gives customers a dependable way to find genuinely healthy, home-cooked food. Real cooking, real people, finally with the infrastructure to match.

Challenge
Every major delivery platform is built for restaurants. Home chefs were left improvising. Orders lived in message threads. Availability was a guess. Payments were whatever the customer felt like sending. There was no system, no reliability, no way to scale a business that was already working. Customers had it no easier. Finding healthy home-cooked food meant chasing word-of-mouth with no guarantee the dish existed, the chef was cooking, or the order would actually happen. Both sides wanted the same thing. Neither had a way to reach the other.
Discovery
The demand was already there. The infrastructure was not. What both sides needed was trust, and trust in a marketplace comes from certainty: knowing a dish is available, knowing an order was received, knowing payment will clear. For chefs that meant structure, from onboarding through to the last step of an order. For customers it meant discovery, visibility, and updates that arrive without asking. Build reliability into both sides and the informal economy already happening turns into a real platform.
